We have a new Yahoo group to join. It is for discussion on our studies during the week.

We are also going to try something new. We will be working out of the birthsong midwifery workbook and supplementing that to make it a more comprehensive curriculum. You can purchase a PDF file of the new addition for $20.00.

The first chapter in this is on Midwifery then and Now. I worked through the first chapter in version 4 and have liked working in this book. I think it will add a lot to discussions in study group as well. There is a section at the back of each chapter for further reading. I really like that. I will discuss my vision with this a little bit more when we meet.

Notes 1/20
We discussed adding a book and book report every month. These won't be texts, just birth/midwifery/natural type book. Please think about a topic over the next week and we can decide what topic we would like to start with. We will each choose our own book out of that topic.
We decided to spend one more week finishing up our first trimester papers. We will be using Jessie's yahoo group to upload them. You are also welcome to post them on the blog.
Once we finish up the first trimester we will be starting on Morning Sickness.
